How Digital Doctor Works
Digital Doctor uses fixed doctor-created protocols — not AI. Here is how the guided flow works.
The Guided Flow
Age Confirmation & Disclaimer
Before starting, you confirm that you are 18 years or older and that you understand Digital Doctor's limitations. All three acknowledgement checkboxes must be ticked before you can continue.
Initial Emergency Screening
The platform asks a series of general emergency questions — chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, collapse, severe bleeding, and others.
If YES to any: You are directed to the Emergency endpoint immediately. No treatment is shown. If NO to all: Continue.
Initial Beyond-Scope Screening
The platform asks about pregnancy, age under 18, severe uncontrolled chronic disease, immunosuppression, inability to drink, and other factors that put the situation beyond safe digital guidance.
If YES to relevant questions: Beyond-scope endpoint. If NO to all: Continue.
Symptom Selection
You select your main symptom from the available cards. The relevant protocol is then loaded.
Symptom-Specific Questions
The protocol runs symptom-specific emergency questions, then symptom-specific beyond-scope questions, then detail questions to better understand the symptom pattern.
Emergency or beyond-scope answers at any stage will stop the flow and direct you to the appropriate endpoint.
Result Endpoint
You are directed to one of three endpoints: Emergency (seek urgent care), Beyond-scope (consult a doctor), or Symptomatic Treatment Plan (structured self-care guidance).
The Three Possible Outcomes
Emergency
Your answers suggest an emergency. Seek urgent medical care immediately. No treatment is provided.
Beyond Scope
Your situation is beyond safe digital guidance. A doctor consultation is recommended.
Treatment Plan
A structured symptomatic treatment plan with home care, medicine guidance, and warning signs to watch for.
